Pancake Kickoff

Boy what a day!

We had our own Brad Webb of All Occassion Entertainment provide his Game Mania program. Brad has worked 17 years in the entertainment industry as a DJ, MC and Game Show Host. Brad travels a lot with his entertainment business so it was fortunate that he was able to be in town to host our program.

Brad does a lot with music trivia in his game show program, which can be a challenge to some of our members. The music clips were much more current than our song book favorites. To round out the program we threw in a few Springfield Kiwanis related questions to test our knowledge of our own club. Our game players, led by Mike Acton, Bill Hicks, Roger Baker, and Jim Kenny were so eager to win that buzzers sounded before questions were asked.

One team was a bit of concern. Mike Acton and his legal eagle team, with gavel wielding Judge Carey, objected when our host did not grant them the points desired. It was a close game, with a lot of last minute guessing. In the end Mike's judiciary team won out, they had a few more points than the remaining teams.

Thanks go out to all the team players and to Brad for getting our Pancake Fund Raising Event off to a fun filled start.
