What are We About??

As an organization WE have defined ourselves in one succinct statement:
     Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.--- as adopted October 2004.

The international web site says we are an organization of service and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world. Currently there are more than 600,000 Kiwanis-family members in 96 countries.

Each club is to make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and by pooling of resources to address worldwide issues.

The Question: DO WE?

•       Is our Club focused on this “big picture”?
•       Are we making a meaningful impact on the needs of our community and its children?

 A quick visit to Kiwanis International's website will provide more information on the Kiwanis Family of service clubs.  We are looking for service minded adults to help Springfield Kiwanis in developing and working with our Service Leadership Clubs in area middle and high schools.
